ACE Academy

ACE Academy is an alternative learning environment located off-site from the main Holmen High School campus. Students at ACE Academy have the opportunity to earn high school credits and graduate with a Holmen High School diploma.

The unique combination of individual online coursework and traditional face-to-face classes, low student-to-teacher ratio, compassionate staff, and positive reinforcement provide a safe, positive, and motivational setting for all students to learn.

Risk-to-Resilience (RTR) Program

The Risk-to-Resilience (RTR) program provides a place for students who do not “fit” into a traditional school setting. The program serves students who tend to exhibit internalizing emotions and behaviors such as withdrawal, isolation from peers, depression, feeling overwhelmed, anxiety, sadness, or truancy.

The RTR program gives students an opportunity to learn and earn credits in a safe and supportive classroom environment focused on stability, encouragement, and personal growth.

Community Connections Program

The Community Connections program provides a place for students to earn credits through classroom instruction and community-based experiences. The program serves students who tend to exhibit externalizing emotions and behaviors such as difficulty with self-regulation, maintaining focus, or navigating interpersonal relationships.

Service Learning is a core component of Community Connections. Through weekly volunteering at local non-profits, students develop employability skills including responsibility, task completion, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and initiative.

Service Learning builds work ethic, accountability, and confidence — preparing students for employment, post-secondary training, or continued education.
