What We Do
School psychologists are trained in both psychology and education. Areas of emphasis include learning, behavior, mental health, educational interventions, child development, motivation, assessment, and school law.
- Consult with teachers and families to support student success.
- Design and monitor academic and behavioral interventions.
- Promote positive school climate and prevention strategies.
- Conduct assessments to inform instruction and supports.
- Connect students and families with community resources.
