Work-Based Learning

Work-based learning connects classroom learning to on-the-job training through a collaboration between an employer and Holmen High School.

Must currently have a job to apply Related course required 90 hours per semester minimum

Students can apply for a Work-Based Learning experience if they currently have a job and want to connect their work to school-based learning. Students will take a related course and complete required work hours each semester.

Program Requirements

  • Students must currently have a job to apply.
  • Students will take a related course connected to their work experience.
  • Students are required to work a minimum of 90 hours per semester.

How to Get Started

  1. Review the application and meet the eligibility criteria.
  2. Talk with your school counselor about your interest and related coursework.
  3. Connect with Mrs. Seipp to discuss next steps and program expectations.
  4. Complete the application process as directed.
